Prize Details

The TaylorMade 2024 The Open Golf Staff Bag pays tribute to the prestigious host venue, Troon in Scotland, where the tournament was founded in 1878. Adorned with regal elements, this staff bag is a nod to the event’s rich history and traditions.

The handle features the Latin phrase ‘Tam Arte Quam Marte,’ which translates to ‘As Much by Skill as by Strength.’ The bag also bears gold railroad tracks with the number 11, representing one of the course’s most challenging holes.

The colours purple, gold, and white symbolize the regal heritage of the venue, which received Royal designation in 1978. The top and bottom of the bag feature gold rings with significant inscriptions, including the 152nd playing of the tournament and the host venue’s seal represented by two serpents.
